Happy Birthday Mylie!

This year has gone by so fast. I can't believe that my baby is ONE today!

There is lots on the schedule for today so, I will have to post more later!

1 year pics

We went to Portrait innovations today to get some pics made. I was very impressed with how they turned out. Here are two of my favorites.

I have been busy cleaning and getting ready for Mylie's big day. Not much else going on these days.

New Pics and an explination of sorts

I have been a bad, bad blogger. I started this blog with every intention of blogging regularly, but as you can see that has not happened. I do not apologise, because that means I would be sorry for spending more time with my family, cleaning, or doing something a little more important than this. Everyday it seems that blogging gets further and further down on my list. I will however, continue to blog when I get the time. I promised myself that I will not feel guilty about it either. For those of you who know me, you have my email and can keep in contact with me that way in between blog postings. I know I have lost some readers because of my inconsistency, but such is life. I don't track who has been here because, frankly I don't blog for numbers.

Anyway, on a different note...

We had baby group the other night and had a wonderful dinner and fellowship. Abby's mom had her camera so we took the babies outside for the last little bit of sunshine and great pictures. Here are a few of my favs.

This is Mylie trying to "run" down the hill. I love how twisted her body is!

Do you know how hard it is to get three babies who are 1 to smile and look pretty at the same time?

You might notice that one of the babies is not there, Colten and his parents are getting ready to move to another state. :(

I have some more of Mylie's clothes completed but I don't want to post pics until I get the whole set complete. That may be a while, but we will see. I have to put things on hold for a few days to make Abby a dress for her birthday and to get ready for Mylie's birthday. We have been cleaning the house like crazy. I do say that it is starting to look really good. We keep the house picked up everyday, but with so many coming over for her big day, it pushed us to do some deep cleaning and sorting out. I guess you could call it 'spring cleaning." This is also the first chance that we have had to do this since Mylie was born. It has been very nice to have her go to bed at a scheduled time. It's so funny, when we are out and want to stay out like at a friends house past her bed time, she still gets very sleepy right at her bed time. I think her internal clock has been set!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!

Look at what I finally finished!

At this rate, I will have the summer pieces done by December! Ha!

I love this material and thought it would look so cute as a dress. It is a little long but that is better than short!

This is for Tam!

Thought you would like this! TOO FUNNY!

Easter Egg Hunt and Playing at the Mall

Last Sunday, we went to the church Easter egg hunt. Mylie had so much fun. She liked watching the other kids play more than anything. When it was our turn to hunt for eggs, we found THREE, behind the trash can. The older kids got carried away and did not leave much for the little ones. That's o.k. though because she had fun watching!

Today we went to the mall and played with some friends. The little play section they have in front of Penny's is so cute and perfect for little toddlers. It is also a great alternative for when the weather doesn't allow us to play outside.

Friday is Grammie's Birthday!! We are going to her house to spend the day and have lots of fun and great lunch provided by Nanny. Sunday we will be busy visiting everyone for Easter. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Take time to remember why we celebrate Easter.

Trying to live God's way, everyday.

Alison tagged me. I don't normally play these, but I like this one, so I will.

So, here are the rules.

1. Write your own six word memoir.

2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like.

3. Link to the person that tagged you in your post and to this original post if possible, so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.

4. Tag five more blogs with links

5. Remember to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play!

Now, I tag Tamara, Elizabeth, Kristi, Mom, and Nanny. I know mom, that you and nanny don't have blogs but you can leave it in the comment section!

Finally some snow worth blogging about!!

So, Mylie woke up bright and early this morning at 6:15. I called Tamara soon there after and they were all up as well. So, her husband came over and picked Mylie and me up. We drove around the corner to the Cosby's'. We bundled up and headed out in the snow to play! We could only take the cold for about 15 to 20 minutes. Tamara took this precious picture of her.

Update: Mylie is taking a few steps by herself now. Her new word is UH OH! If you say it to her, she looks on the ground to see what you dropped!

Meet Claire!

We think she looks a lot like Mylie did at this age. What do you think?

Here is Mylie at about the same age.
