Can you guess what we had for dinner?

She needed a bath, so I let her feed herself. I am totally out of baby food in a jar and I don't think I am going to buy anymore. I will steam her some veggies to go with our dinner, but I am stuck on what to feed her for lunch. Any sugesstions? I do not eat that healthy for lunch. So, most of the time, I will have to fix her something totally different than what I am having. Fruits come to mind, but I am looking for something a little bit more than that.

Grilled Cheese Sandwiches were the best thing that ever happened to me when my kids turned 1!!! I used to make them in the microwave instead of on the stove. Put some cheese in between two pieces of bread, wrap in a paper towel and put in micro for about 15 seconds...LOVES IT! Or just cut cheese into bite size pieces and let her at it. Rice. You can cook a lot of rice and then let it be in the refridge for later???

My monkey wont eat baby food from a jar, I dare you to try to give it to her. The girl has no teeth but would eat a steak if I would let her.

Our daughter won't eat meat very well. I give her yogurt, those pre-packaged fruit bowls, and apple sauce. She has also always been a big fan of corn and peas (I just buy them frozen, and save the leftovers from dinner for her!).

Caroline loves the Gerber toddler meals and since it's Gerber, I feel like it's pretty healthy. She also LOVES salisbury steak more than anything else in the world. and pancakes and syrup are her favorites for breakfast, even though she'll eat scrambled eggs too.

Our doctor loves yogurt. Ham or turkey/cheese roll ups, just have the turkey slcied thing enough that you know it will fall apart when she mashes it in her mouth. I agree, grilled cheeses are great! A nutrigrain bar with a baby yogurt. Buy the Green Giant pack with four individual puches of sweet peas, microwave and them rinse in cool water to cool back down, but don't mash them for her. That takes out all the fun. A little fruit bowl with cheese cubes and some whole wheat crackers. I don't know. I almost can't remember! LOL. My kids eat meals of fruit, cheese and grains all the time.
